It has been an eventful first half of the season for Team Spin/Litzler Automation. Our racers braved the elements and travelled great distances to race their bikes in the cold months of March and April. We even survived the cold and wet months of May and June! Our recognizable orange kits could be seen not only in Ohio but also in the states of Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and West Virginia. Some of us also made the trek North across the border to race in Canada. We have won 6 races outright—in Masters, Junior, and Elite fields, from road races to criteriums, on our local wooden oval, and on rain-soaked roads. We’ve also climbed on the podium in 27 events. But the season is far from over with our focus shifting to the track in the upcoming months, and cyclocross in the fall.
Other team news:
Junior Daniel Tokarczyk will travel to Belgium in July to train and race against some of the world’s best. We wish him the best of luck and to come back to the USA faster and stronger!
Masters Jeff Kompa and Derek Wilford will travel to Minnesota in July to participate in the 2015 edition of the biennial National Senior Games.
Master Derek Wilford will travel to Denmark in September to represent the USA at the 2015 UCI World Cycling Tour (UWCT).
Good Luck to all Team Spin / Litzler Automation members as the season rolls along!
